400 Flinders St, Melbourne VIC 3000From the full-scale replica of a 1990s video store to an augmented reality activated ‘Joy Generator’, immerse yourself in this multi-sensory exhibition that takes you on a transformative journey through seven trailblazing artists’ personal musings on joy.
Nixi Killick, Callum Preston, Beci Orpin, Jazz Money, Elyas Alavi with Sher Ali, Spencer Harrison and Nadia Hernández create physical and metaphorical spaces within the Immigration Museum to reflect on this intimate yet communal feeling through large-scale, immersive installations.
Experience the exhibition and discover the Sound of Joy, featuring an exclusive performance by the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) in collaboration with the Immigration Museum for Now or Never:

By train: The closest train station is Flinders Street Station or Spencer Street Station.
By tram: The closest tram routes are: 48, 55, 70 and 75.
Getting there:
There are two accessible entrances:
- Via the gate on Market Street (near the corner of Flinders Street) and along the ramp to the main Flinders Street entrance, which has automatic doors.
- Via the ramp further up on Market Street which leads into the Festivals Courtyard. There are automatic doors at the rear of the building. The central corridor then leads to the Flinders Street foyer.
