Museums Victoria has been creating knowledge, entertaining visitors and building the State Collection since 1854. In partnership with Museums Victoria, Now or Never will transform the World Heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building into <a href="https://nowornever.melbourne.vic.gov.au/event/reb">MATRIA</a>, an immersive pink sanctuary by Barcelona collective Penique Productions. <a href="https://nowornever.melbourne.vic.gov.au/event/reb">MATRIA </a>will also host ticketed breathwork sessions and curated performances. Museums Victoria also presents <a href="https://nowornever.melbourne.vic.gov.au/event/the-future-of-space">The Future of Space</a> with Australia&#8217;s first astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg at Melbourne Museum, exploring humanity&#8217;s cosmic future alongside the commissioned film birrang.

Switzerland’s Encor Studio invites you into Alcove LTD — a luminous chamber where perception bends and reality refracts.
Alcove LTD is a portal where light, sound and your own image converge. Caught between layers of liquid crystal, refracted by pulsating light and immersed in 360-degree sound, you will become part of the work – an echo in a hall of mirrors, shaped and reshaped by your own gaze.
The reflective nature of the chamber invites us to look inward and change how we observe our surroundings.
